For a lot of tenants of apartments in Rio de Janeiro rodents are often the other white meat

First off, I must confess, the place that I was residing can't really be defined as an apartment. I'm among those kinds of individuals who needs to go so far off the beaten path that I can't find it again. Hotels and Apartments? Not actually my bag. So obviously, when an individual like me goes to travel to Rio de Janeiro I'm almost certainly going to face some particular issues. Especially if you go to look at the kind of rentals I looked at. If you are taking unconventional actions, you are very likely to have some unconventional difficulties, as I discovered.

I'd actually identified some flats located within one of the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. This specific favela was located in Copacabana, however it was also not far from Ipanema. While the majority of people may likely seek out hotels or apartments, I actually found this unique piece of real estate to be embedded in the culture. Funk parties, loud music, samba, low budget fireworks at all times of the day and night. If this is the holiday you look for, then a favela is for you. Otherwise, perhaps you may think about a different approach for your vacation.

Once I migrated into my new accommodations, it wasn't long before I noticed I had an unforeseen guest. Or you could possibly would refer to him as an invader. Though it may be argued as to who was the actual invader. I assume to this rodent, I was actually encroaching on his territory. Most likely he was there long before I appeared. Also, this isn't really something that occurred to me while I was hunting for flats and rentals in the local slums of Rio de Janeiro. But what else could you do?

One may possibly ask, what's it like living with a rat? Well, almost everyone has had that roommate who is "that guy." You know the sort. The ones who make noise when you're attempting to sleep. They devour your food and don't clean up their messes. Though I have to admit, when compared to other roommates in other apartments I have stayed in, this rodent was quite polite. But on the other hand, the bar may be set low, very low.

Perhaps next time I'm going to accept the strategy of staying in hotels. Though for the money, there's no way I would have gotten anywhere as close to Copacabana or Ipanema beach had I not moved into some accommodations that could agree to my furry four legged friend with a tail.
