Available in 2hp and 5 hp designs the portable model has an integrated fuel tank for easy transport. The 8hp, 9.9hp, 15hp, and 20hp models are great for small craft. These models are compact and lightweight which makes them easy to transport.
Offering 25hp models all the way up to a 90 hp model, the mid-range models make use of the VTEC technology to provide superb power along with excellent fuel economy. The models also utilize the lean burn control and blast systems. These two designs increase the engines overall power without increasing the fuel used, making them ideal for mid-sized craft.
Available in designs ranging from 115hp up to 250hp, the large models use a V6 technology that allows for better performance in larger craft. Using the lean control burn system the engines provide maximum fuel efficiency while cruising. The boosted low torque system improves overall acceleration at low speeds.
The jet drive model is offered in two different designs 65hp and 115hp. The 65hp jet drive model uses a programmed fuel injection package that monitors the air/fuel mixture ensuring the engine starts easily and increases overall throttle response. These models are designed for larger craft and provide the same power and fuel economy as smaller engines.
The 105hp model comes standard with the VTEC technology and also uses a duel stage induction system. The dual stage induction system optimizes air flow to match the engine speed. The end result is maximum combustion efficiency, increased torque, and increased fuel efficiency. The four Honda outboard engines available, offer something for every boater, no matter the area where it is being used or the size of the craft.
