If Christmas and New Year seemed to come and go in a heartbeat, then where better to go for March to give you something to look forward to and disperse up the grey gloom than the Caribbean? It is one of the most popular cruise destinations in the world and it's easy to see why when the cruise ship approaches and all you can see is the sun glistening on the water and endless whit sandy beaches. Choose whether to chill out on the beach for a week or get your feet wet with snorkelling and scuba diving.

From the Caribbean to Alaska: what a contrast! But both are equally beautiful so if you prefer to stay a little cooler when you go away then consider an Alaska cruise.

If you travel to Alaska in the warmer months in then you'll find all kinds of cheap cruises on offer, and if you book in advance the prices are better yet! Don't forget to take your camera, as not only is the landscape truly beautiful but you may even be lucky enough to spot one of the Alaskan brown bears in Denali National Park.

You can also enjoy amazing scenery if you take a cruise to the Scandinavian wilds of either Iceland or Greenland. June is a great time of year to go, with the end of spring and early summer providing beautiful foliage and temperature weather. Be sure to get out of the deck of the cruise ships when you pass through some of the narrower inlets, where waterfalls and forest will make for some fantastic photography.
