From Linda Garrison, your Guide to Cruises
Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, so it's certainly appropriate to feature Ireland cruises in this week's newsletter. Cruise ships usually stopover in Cobh or Dublin when cruising the British Isles or northern Europe. You will only have a day in each port, but that's enough time to enjoy a real Guinness (or two) in its natural setting.

A Day in Cobh, Ireland
Cobh (pronounced "Cove") is a picturesque harbor town just a few miles from Cork, Ireland. Cruise ships dock in downtown Cobh and run shore excursions to Cork, the Blarney Castle, Waterford, Killarney, or the Irish countryside. However, Cobh is also a nice place to spend the day if you want to just relax and just enjoy strolling around this pretty little village on Cork Harbor.

Things to See with a Day in Dublin
Cruise ships dock in Dublin Bay, and passengers can take bus or walking tours of the city. The tides control the times ships enter and leave Dublin Bay. Cruise visitors can either take a guided tour of the city or do their own walking tour. Here's some things you can see while in Dublin.

Top 10 Sites to See in Dublin
The About.com Guide to Ireland travel is much more knowledgeable than I am about touring in Dublin. Here are 10 of his "must see" sights in the Irish capital.

Dublin for Romantics
