What to Pack for the Caribbean
Do you like this story?
Mesh Beach Bag from MilliGift.
It has taken many trips to the Caribbean to perfect the contents of my suitcase. With most items, I've learned the hard way what value they have on a Caribbean Vacation. Below are the items I consider essential for every trip to the Caribbean... what do you consider a "must"?
Wet Suit Bag from Flight 001.
- Hats - a big floppy one for full coverage on the beach & a baseball hat for in the water or on the boat.
- Beach Bag - my favorite is is mesh bag that folds easily. Mesh is perfect for letting the sand fall out with a little shake.
- Wet Suit Bag - a must if you want to swim within 24 hours of departure. This will keep your wet suit separate from the rest of your clothing.
- Bug Spray - a must on every island.
- Bug Bite Anti-Itch Cream - despite how strong the bug spray is, there will be a bite or two - why suffer?
- Sunscreen - very important!
- Body Lotion - even though the Caribbean is humid, jumping in and out of the water all day will dry your skin.
- Deep Hair Conditioner - salt water + the strong sun will dry out your hair.
- Bandaids - you never know!
- Neosporin - items like this are more expensive in the islands.
