USVI’s “No Passport Required”
Do you like this story?
First, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I was recently asked what is currently the single biggest Caribbean newsmaker. The January 23, 2007 Passport Initiative wins hands down as the most talked about and most concerning hot topic. All of us in the Caribbean travel business are concerned that this initiative will hurt business because only 23% of US citizens have passports and many might decide to bask on beaches closer to home. So, when the US Virgin Islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix decided to launch a “No Passport Required” promotion we all smiled! The promotion includes a 20% discount at dozens participating hotels for ALL of 2007. Contact us for a full list and happy travels!
